DeAnne

We're back home this morning and DeAnne's doing well. Everything went well yesterday and we were able to come home yesterday afternoon. There was a lot of waiting and it was a long day, but I think it's going to be worth it. The herniation was larger than the doctor thought and was really pressing on her spinal cord, so her pain should be gone now. She says that there's still some numbness but the doctor told us that that might be the case. She's also still on pain killers, so we're just going to have to wait and see what's what.

So that the short of it. She's doing good and everything went really well. We go back to the doctor in 2 weeks for a follow-up and to get the stitches out. Thanks for all the prayers and well-wishes. We couldn't have made it through without you all.

Anniversary

I mentioned mine and DeAnne's anniversary in the last post. It's now been two years. It's hard to imagine that two years have gone by already. It feels like we just got married. We had a good day. I bought DeAnne some pieces of her china that she didn't have and had some flowers delivered. She got me the game I mentioned and paid for dinner. Nothing much, but it was nice and that's all you can really ask for.

Games

Thought I'd drop in a mention a few things.

I just finished God of War II (PS2). It was just as incredible if not more so than the first. The storyline is great. I've always enjoyed the Greek mythologies so it's pretty cool to see them interpreted the way they've done and get to interact with that world.

After finishing that I was wondering where to go next. DeAnne answered that for me when she bought me Super Paper Mario (Wii) for our anniversary. It doesn't use the Wii controller much but the game play is really cool and it's been a really fun game so far.

Other than that, the new Guitar Hero 80's edition should be coming out in July. You can probably imagine that I'm really geeking out over that one.
