Another weekend is in the books.
Friday night, DeAnne left me at the house while she went to Dothan with her Mom. I took the chance to finish up playing Batman: Arkham Asylum. The game was a little short, but it was still awesome. It's easily the best game I've played all year and is without a doubt the best Batman game ever made.
Saturday we just laid around and caught up on our T.V. watching. Saturday night, Kevin and Tammy had our Sunday School class and a few others over to eat a hog that Kevin had killed. Wild hog was a first for both DeAnne and myself, and I have to say that it was really good. DeAnne's doesn't usually like wild meat but even she liked it. The largest game of "Catch Phrase" I've ever seen broke out after we ate and it was a blast. So good food, good company and a good time.
After the excitement of Saturday night, I actually slept in a little on Sunday. Then, after church and lunch I actually took a nap. I woke up just in time to walk Emma and get to choir practice on time (to run the sound, I'm no in the choir for anyone who might have wondered).
So that was the weekend. Too bad they have to end. Have a good Monday.
