We tried the new Mexican place in town on Friday night and it was pretty decent. The inside of the building has been altered enough that it doesn't contain too many frightening memories of Golden Coral or Barnhill's. It's still not Old Mexico though. I don't know that anything can ever top Old Mexico.
On Saturday, Mom came by and visited for a little while. She and Sid just bought a new laptop and she asked me to go over it for her and to show her a few things. DeAnne went to a baby shower that afternoon and other than that we caught up on a little T.V. and that was it.
Sunday was, of course, church. I also had some computer work to do there. Our youth pastor's computer was pretty much unusable, so I rebuilt that. DeAnne and I fit a nap in during the afternoon and then we hit Sonic for dinner. We haven't been to Sonic in a while, but with McDonald's closing last night so that it can be torn down, we figured we had to do something different.
Not terribly eventful, but it was nice. DeAnne and I got to spend some time together before she leaves for Albuquerque on Tuesday, so that's what was really important. Have a good Monday.
