I'm Better Now

We had a pretty good weekend. DeAnne woke up sick yesterday, but other than that, it was nice. We didn't do much of anything, but I think that may have been part of what made it nice.

A tech from CenturyTel came out Friday and looked into our DSL problem. After working with him for about an hour, we came to the conclusion that it was something to do with my wireless router. We left the router out of the equation and my internet connection has been fine all weekend. I'm going to try playing with the router some this week and make sure that it's the problem, but right now I'm leaning in that direction.

Saturday was a day for visitors it seemed. We started off the morning by cleaning the entire house in preparation for DeAnne's jewelry party that's tonight. As part of that, Dad and Sherry came by and picked up a couple of things that we wanted to get out of the house. Not too long after they left, Mom stopped by for a while. We had a good visit with her and she bought some jewelry from DeAnne since she's not going to be able to make the party. After Mom left, we headed to Wal-Mart for the weekly trip and then when we got back DeAnne's Mom and Wayne came over and dropped off some chairs for the party. It was a pretty busy day, but it was all contained at the house so it didn't really feel busy.

Yesterday we just finished cleaning in between church services. DeAnne stayed at home trying to stave off her sickness. We're not sure what she's got, but it's probably just sinus and allergy problems.

There's a couple of other things I want to talk about from this past weekend, but I'm out of time today so they'll have to wait until tomorrow. Have a good Monday.
