It's Amazing

It really is amazing how strange it is not to have TV. Even if we had it, we'd be watching cartoons for DeAnne's little sister, but still, it would be TV. Instead, we've had to watch a steady stream of Disney movies. This is much worse on DeAnne simply because she's here during the day so she has more exposure to it than I do.

Her Dad did get a building and got the majority of his stuff moved yesterday. He should finish up moving today and then I think they're planning on leaving either Thursday or Friday. It's really been a lot of fun at times. The children are starting to really warm up to DeAnne and I, Cindy (the oldest one) especially. We've had a good time with them, but it'll be nice to have the house to ourselves again. We've enjoyed the company that we've had lately and we're glad for it, but at the same time, you miss just having time to yourselves. I know that if we ever have children, that will be a permanent change, but with children it just seems like it would be different. Of course, I could be wrong. Who knows?

The election is only six days away. The closer it gets, the more news items seem to come out directly tying Obama to socialist ideals. Fox News has had a steady stream of articles detailing Obama's connection to socialist thinkers such as William Ayers. It's beyond me how anyone can vote for Obama after looking at this guy's history and record. I guess there's just that many people in this country that have gotten so lazy that they're to the point of looking to the government for a handout. Now that's sad. Go vote next Tuesday.

Have a good Wednesday.
