Taking It Back

The house guests are gone and the TV is operational once again! I apologize for there not being a blog yesterday. I just didn't have the time. Hopefully today begins a return to a regular schedule.

So DeAnne's Dad and his family left yesterday. We enjoyed seeing them and having them here, but we were ready to see them go also. It's amazing how similar the girls are to what I picture DeAnne and her sister Sara being like when they were small. While they were here, we also discovered that we will have no need for a baby monitor when we have children. Between the house being so small and the floors not being carpeted, we were able to easily hear Anna when she woke up in the night, even through two closed bedroom doors.

We also got the TV back yesterday. The new Dish receiver finally arrived, we hooked it up and now we just have to reset the eight million settings and recording timers we had set on the thing. It'll probably be days before we get everthing back in order. We've still got to figure out a way to see the shows we missed that don't rerun, but other than that, we're back in business.

Have a good Friday and a good weekend. Oh, and happy halloween.
